[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Ruger has a great sense of humor. He has bursts of exuberant energy, and does an Energizer Bunny impersonation when I come home, but settles down quickly. He got a new fuzzy blue toy today, and I quickly learned he's not a stuffed animal type of guy! (RIP fuzzy blue toy!) Actually, his preferred toy is one of his tiny foster sibling's tiny chew toy. He will seek it out and help himself to it, so I'm looking for one his size. He met two tiny foster dog siblings, and he didn't bother with them much. Certainly no aggression. Speaking of that, he has been tested for food aggression, and their is NONE of that. He ... (Read More)wags his tail when I pet him as he eats. He was raised with children, and we have been told he loves kids, but I haven't tested him with that yet. I am impressed at how easy he is. He was great at the vet. No bark or growl, even with blood draws. Pretty impressive! He has been loose in a carpeted room, and aside from being nosey, and occasionally counter surfing, he hasn't destroyed a thing. He is completely housebroken. He has not had any accidents in the house since he arrived. He grabs his leash when he wants to go out. He does love sleeping in our bed, and loves to snuggle. He did sleep in the bed with me his first night here because he was stressed, but he has been alone uncrated, and has no sign of anxiety when alone. He has had no seizure activity since he arrived and has been back on his medication. He has the whitest teeth, and the best smile! Someone will be very lucky to have this sweet, handsome boy join their family. Epilepsy is not curable BUT very manageable. Ruger gets affordable medication twice a day and has had no seizures since he has been in Rescue. The key to managing this is daily exercise and giving Ruger his medication like clock work. Nothing to it! If you have breakfast at 7:00 am, keep Ruger's medication by your coffee cup and when you start your day, give Ruger his medication and then at 7:00 pm he gets his medication again. Very simple to do. He may or may not grow out of the seizures. Ruger has come a long way while in foster care. He has been learning basic training and is crate-trained. Lulu is Little man's daughter. I don't want to have to get rid of her or her dad but i had to move back home and my parents already have inside dogs and I found out I was pregnant. I want her to go to a good home and be took care of. She is a sweet dog. She is crated trained at night and somewhat house trained. She loves to play with toys and to get attention. She likes to be outside when its warm and in the sun. When you go to pick her up she will roll over on her back and want her belly rubbed and then when you pick her up she will lick you all over. I got little man as my first pet and I have had him a little over a year. I had to move home with my parents and they already had dogs in the house. I found out I was pregnant and I am not able to keep him. He has bite a few times but never nothing serious. If he doesn't want to do something or go somewhere we will growl and snarl his lip. He has been abused by somebody because he gets scared easily by loud noises, brooms, vacuums, hair dryers. He doesn't care to much for men. He has some food aggression. I can do anything with him but if he is beside me and somebody tries to get him he will snarl his lip and try to bite, but if I am not ...
