My wife and I adopted Lola as a puppy, and have been sole owners. Recently Lola bit my spouse on the face. Lola is currently in a shelter. I cannot condone the destruction of our family member, and have since contacted an Aggressive dog Behaviorist who will board for 5-weeks of intensive training. Relinquishing my dog Max is a very hard decision for me but I have decided that it is the best course of action for both of us. Max is an 11 year old jack russell mix. Ive had him for 6 years now and I worked in the equine industry so I was able to take him to work everyday. This past year I was in a car accident thats left me with a bulging disk in my neck and im unable to work at a farm . I now work in an office mon thru friday and while its not too bad Max needs a home where he can have someone who can be there for him more than I can be. He has seperation anxiety but the most he does is lick the front door. He is amazing with other dogs ... (Read More)and is great with my son. Hes not happy in my home and its become very difficult for me to continue to keep him. If you could please help me I know he could find the perfect home. I have all his medical records for the last 3 years I use banfield so they have his records since ive had him. He is up to date on everything and has never bitten someone or another dog. He was attacked by a akita a year ago when I left him in the care of a doggy daycare and he had a scar down his shoulder. white w black spots and head. tan eyebrows and inside of ears. Moochi is super smart and is a great mom to her daughter goo goo who im trying to place together. Moochi saved us from a burgler, i would not be giving them away if not for my deteriorating health. Goo goo is black with tan eyebrows and markings. text me for pics with your email adress. She steals treats then opens the gate herself to hide out in her crate where she knows mom wont follow her. both are wee wee pad trained, however they like to mark their territory sometimes. We have to move,and can't take Marley with us. She is almost 4 yrs old,housebroken,very submissive..like a lap dog. She is a Texas Rednose pitbull,she sometimes scrapes her nose when digging. She loves to lay in the sun,but also sleep a lot inside. She has high energy when company comes,and tends to jump,but she won't bite. I have this dog for three weeks . I was told she has a lot of energy , which is true . She is too aggressive when playing . She has accidentally scrapped three of children on the arm . She needs a place to run . No kids at all . She also chases cats and other dogs . She needs someone that has experience with hyper dogs . I did take her to the vet and had her rabies . Della is a very cuddly/loving lap dog who loves attention and will sit with you all day long. She has a lot of energy and needs lots of attention and exercise. Della is good with other dogs and kids but needs to control the situation at all times. she would be better off in a home with no kids or animals since she does not like noisy toys and dominates other dogs. Meet Buddy. He is a wonderful little guy who loves to be loved. He is in need of a new home due to the fact that we are not home enough. The best thing for him would be in a home where people are home quite often, as well as a place where he can be outdoors a lot of the time. He loves to run around and play outside. However, he needs a decent amount of room and a secure fence. He is a dog afterall, and will find a way out if possible. He is wonderful with kids and other dogs. Dogs can make good pets in Rhode Island if they match your IifestyIe. Dogs have a reputation for being "man's best friend" for excellent reasons. Dogs are wonderful companions. Many breeds, in addition to being affectionate, devoted members of the family, are useful working dogs and guardians. Most dogs form tight bonds with their humans, and need to be cared for like the valuable family members they are. But sadly, some owners do not live up to the responsibility and involvement it takes to properly care for a dog throughout its life. Dogs can become the victims of neglect or active abuse. Some dogs receive tender, attentive care from their owners, but no longer have a home after their owner passes away or experiences a major life event that makes him unable to keep his dog. There are many more dogs than there are homes for dogs, and dogs that are not spayed or neutered can accidentally produce large numbers of puppies, exacerbating overpopulation. For this reason, three to four million dogs, many of them perfectly healthy and wonderful animals, are euthanized in the U.S. each year. Many people get excited about owning a new dog, decide to get a puppy, and then pick one out at a pet shop or visit a breeder with a new litter. However, there are so many wonderful, friendly dogs in need of adoption, including puppies and purebreds. Some of these dogs might even be a better fit for a family than a new puppy; for instance, some adult dogs in need of adoption are already housebroken and obedience trained. Adoption is typically much less expensive than purchasing a dog. People who adopt dogs find the experience extremely rewarding, bond very closely with their dogs, and have the added satisfaction of knowing that one less animal has to be euthanized.
